In my early years I was steeped in photography. My grandfather had a collection of cameras including a halfplate (glass) camera he had used to take landscapes and produce postcards of pre 1940 Auckland. He ignited my passion for photography. I currently use a Canon dSLR with a selection of lenses for most of my photography and a Canon G9 where I need to be less obtrusive. My photographic interests span a wide genre of compositional subjects but I have a special interest in things historical - both architectural and mechanical. I also have an interest in producing "textured" backgrounds which can be used with presentation programs such as Powerpoint or Impress or as backgrounds for text in other situations e.g. greeting cards. I am also experimenting with creating panoramas and triptychs. Please contact me regarding commercial use of my images.
